India�s largest steel manufacturer has its largest steel plant at Jamshedpur. The plant has a capacity to produce 10 Million tons of steel each year. It�s quite clear that the process of manufacturing steel is both a complex and messy process. The red hue throughout is probably from the bauxite used in steel manufacturing. The black deposits to the west is coal for the furnaces, brought in through trains that can be seen right below it.
