Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad
The Kankaria lake was originally built in 1451, with an island in the middle and a stone bridge connecting it. However over time it has gone through multiple renovations and restorations. Its most recent renovation happened on 2008. Some say it was the inspiration behind the design of the SBI logo. Today the lake is a tourist attraction and recreational facility.
