Every piece of land needs access to roads. This has led to a very unique pattern. There is a lone access road passing east to west, where every farm needs access. Thus the land is divided into narrow, linear patches of land. Each plot is just wide enough to fit a building its necessary services. All these buildings are located as close to the road as possible.
