T H E L A R G E R  P E R S P E C T I V E

Located in the bay of Bengal, the Barren island is India�s only active volcano. It lies at the northern tip of Andaman islands. The volcano last erupted in 1991 for a period of six months. The lava that flowed towards the west can be clearly seen the image even today.
